Q: Is there a division for handcycles in the criterium at the Bike Columbus Fest?
A: There is an open race that is short but would be open to hand cycles…If we get a large enough contingent. There could be a category for them at the beginning of the $10 community race. It would only be a few miles but we are totally open to that. Depending on how many could be fielded and we could make a separate category for them. Due to USAC rules they can’t ride with upright bicycles but the community challenge is open to all bicycles that do not meet USAC spec…helmets are required though.
